A Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) is a removable card for cell phones that use the GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) mobile network. The SIM card allows users to change phones by simply removing the SIM card from one cell phone and inserting it into another cell phone.
An unlocked cell phone is not tied to any particular phone network. You can insert any SIM card into an unlocked phone and connect to the appropriate phone network operator. Your phone may be locked if it was not purchased from us. To check if your phone is locked, call your mobile service provider.
No. With SIMsmart USA there are no contracts and no minimum commitment required.
If your SIM is lost or stolen, please contact us and we will deactivate your SIM card.
SIMsmart USA works with most phones including iPhone and Android handsets. To ensure you get the correct SIM for your handset, select your SIM type from the drop down list on the SIM product page. You can choose from a standard size SIM, Micro SIM or a Nano SIM. Please refer to your handset manual to see which SIM type you require. The basic SIMsmart prepaid Europe Phone will not operate in the US.
During the checkout process you can select your shipping speed including next-day and Saturday shipping.
We offer a free standard shipping option for the majority of products. Next-day and Saturday shipping are also available at an extra cost. Total shipping charges are calculated in your basket.

All of our SIM cards carry a USA number. When you receive your SIM card, your number will be clearly displayed on the SIM card pocket on your Welcome letter. All of your active numbers are also listed in your online account at www.simsmartusa.com.
No, the good news is that we will automatically connect you on to SIMsmart USA's partner network. Therefore you do not need to do anything. Just switch on the device and the SIM card will update.
Carefully punch out the SIM card from the plastic holder and insert it into your unlocked mobile phone as instructed in the phone's user manual. Turn on your phone and wait for the network to connect.
Dial the city code then the phone number and press the call key.
Enter the + sign on your keypad then dial the country code, the area/city code, the phone number then press the call key.

Callers should dial the number allocated to you.
Callers should dial the international prefix for the country they are in, followed by the USA country code, then the SIMsmart USA number allocated to you.

APN settings should be automatically added by the network to your device. If you are experiencing connectivity issues, details can be manually added.

To set up voicemail for the first time call 123.
If prompted for a password the first time you access your new voicemail account, use the last four digits of your mobile number.
When prompted, create your new password. Your password can be any 4- to 7-digit code. A good password is one that's easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess. When prompted, record your greeting and name. Your voicemail is now ready to use.
To check your voicemail messages call 123 and follow the prompts.
